Fantastic service. Generous portions. Have yet to find anything I don't like. Actually plan my trips to this area around their hours, it's literally worth the 4 hour drive! Update: twice in a row now there's something very very wrong. Their ice cream is suddenly very gritty and no longer tastes creamy at all. I don't know if the machines aren't working right or if the mix is off or something, but it's very unpleasant. Will give one more opportunity.
We have ordered from here multiple time and they NEVER DISAPPOINT!! Food is so good . Best Cheesesteaks and fried chicken in this area. And their prices are very reasonable. Great place to go if you want some filling food or some tasty ice cream. Excellent prices and very friendly service. I go there often to take a break from day to day life and have my usual twist with extra malt. Everyone there always knows what I mean by extra malt. What are you waiting for? Spangenberg's has been a top notch drive in restaurant as far back as I can remember, and that's all the way back to the 70s for me! Long time family run business to perfection! And current ownership hasn't missed a beat! A staple in this community.
A different ice cream joint in town is very unreliable as to when they are open so that's how we found this place and boy am I glad we did! Their ice cream is so much better than the other place! Their service was fast and very courteous. Soft serve vanilla super yummy and family member loved the milk shake. Highly recommend these guys. They definitely have customers in us now that we know they are there and they are good!
